Francis House is a non-profit organization. Francis House does not receive any county, state or federal funding. We do not receive funding from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse. We do not receive any insurance reimbursement. We are able to continue our ministry because of the generous donations given in support of our work.
We receive financial contributions from individuals, corporations, small businesses and foundations. Francis House also receives in-kind donations and food donations that help to save thousands of dollars every year.
Your financial gift can be sent directly to Francis House at: 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
There are many opportunities to support the ministry of Francis House:
Become a Member of Our Monthly Giving Club
You will receive 12 giving envelopes to send your gift every month. You receive giving receipts for your gifts twice annually. Monthly givers receive special correspondence from Sister Kathleen Osbelt, Executive Director, as well as a gift from Francis House.
The Caring Fund
A permanent endowment of Francis House in Honor of Sister Kathleen Osbelt. Click here to learn more about the endowment and how you can make your pledge.
Dedicate a Brick In Our Walkway of Blessings
Our Walkway of Blessings winds through our yard and circles around our gazebo. For your gift of $100, you can dedicate a brick in memory or in honor of someone who has been a blessing in your life. Every Fall, newly etched blessing bricks are added to the walkway.
Give Through United Way
Although Francis House is not a United Way member agency, you can still make gifts to us through the donor designation program. Simply write in “Francis House, Inc.” for donor designation on your pledge card.
You can drop off your in-kind donations at Francis House anytime seven days a week. A list of our most needed items is listed on our Wish List page.
